 In 8th grade, there was a time when I felt completely lost in Algebra. We had just begun learning about quadratic equations, and no matter how hard I tried, nothing made sense. I sat at my desk, staring at the problems on the board, feeling like the numbers and letters were speaking a different language. The more I tried to figure it out, the more confused I became. Then the teacher called on me to answer a question, and my mind went completely blank. My heart started pounding as I fumbled over my words, wishing I could just sink into the floor and disappear.

Reflection:That moment in Algebra taught me that it’s okay to struggle and not understand things immediately. I learned that asking for help

Prompt: Write about something you’ve outgrown but still miss.

I used to be obsessed with Hot Wheels and I would collect them and line them up and race them around the house like they were real cars. I would be excited to go to Kroger or Walmart with my dad to buy them. I could spend hours just playing with them. Eventually I grew out of it, the cars ended up in a box in my closet. But every now and then I think about them and kind of miss those simple fun moments. Summaary I used to love collecting and playing with Hot Wheels and even though I grew out of them, I still miss those fun and simple times.
