 Today we finished our essays and learned new vocabulary words. Todays lesson impacted me in a positive way helping improve on my vocabulary. I plan to use this knowledge to farther improve my writing skill and help me out in life. There was no part I disliked about today lesson. Overall, todays lesson was helpful and my day is going well

I used to be obsessed with Hot Wheels and I would collect them and line them up and race them around the house like they were real cars. I would be excited to go to Kroger or Walmart with my dad to buy them. I could spend hours just playing with them. Eventually I grew out of it, the cars ended up in a box in my closet. Every year on my birthday, my parents would wake me up by singing "Las Mananitas." Their voices would fill the room and I'd wake up feeling happy. It always made my whole day hearing them sing. Even now hearing the song brings back those warm memories. "Las Mananitas" will always remind me of those joyful birthday mornings.
